SKIN CHU ‘NELUMBO’ Line Launching &
Implementation of HiddenTag Authentication Solution
SKINCHU has launched ‘NELUMBO (lotus)’line. NELUMBO is a genus of aquatic plants with large, showy flowers, commonly called `lotus`. The brand philosophy itself is also expressed in its nature; bringing the nutrients of lotus flowers that blooms in the mud.
In December 2017, SKINCHU launched `Photoshop Brush NELUMBO Essence Blemish Balm’ with a pink base-tone brush, and in January 2018 launched ‘NELUMBO Essence` and `Cremisu Bubble NELUMBO Essence Cleanser`. SKINCHU has developed and released various products, such as mist, mask pack, cushion, and is continually expanding the NELUMBO line.
The entire product line of SKINCHU is based on the rich nutrients of the lotus and the water supply function, thus maximizing the anti-inflammatory and anti-aging functions of the skin. SKINCHU products are also perfect for sensitive skin, as all of the brand passed various skin tests and is believed to be a low-irritation brand.
SKINCHU was launched both in Korea and China simultaneously, and currently more than 80% of its products are exported to China and Southeast Asia. In 2018, SKINCHU is expected to participate in various exhibitions in China, Hong Kong, and the United States to expand its overseas presence. Meanwhile, the company is also actively engaged in domestic marketing, and promotes sales through online channels.
Aiming for further global expansion, SKINCHU has implemented anti-counterfeit solution HiddenTag to prevent any risks of counterfeit products.
HiddenTag is the proprietary technology of CK&B Co. Ltd., utilizing digital watermarking and data encoding to the unique images. By encoding different data to seemingly identical images, HiddenTag carries unique information, giving DNA like identity to each product carrying the label.
HiddenTag anti-counterfeit & authenticity verification solution has been selected by KITA for “Export Voucher” program jointly organized by KOTRA and SME Promotion Corporation. HiddenTag has also been acknowledged as an official anti-counterfeit technology by CTAAC.
