CK&B Co. Ltd awarded as a leading enterprise at “Small and Medium Business Convention 2018”

Appreciation of the technology and export of HiddenTag authentication service

CK&B Co. Ltd. was awarded as one of the leading small business ventures at Small and Medium Business Convention 2018 organized by Korea Federation of SMEs. Korea Federation of SMEs represents the interests of small and medium sized enterprises in Korea. The organization supports the growth and development of SMEs by creating fair economic environment for fair business conduct. Small and Medium Business Convention is an annual event that gives opportunity to all participating small and medium enterprises to share their achievements and expertise and become the role model for other companies with similar purposes.  

CK&B Company was established in 2007 and has ever since provided content security and anti-counterfeit solution to Samsung Electronics, KBS, SBS, and other organizations. In 2014 the company launched anti-counterfeit and authentication service HiddenTag, which is now already applied by more than 400 companies to protect their products from counterfeit risks, especially when exporting to international markets. The advantage of HiddenTag is that it provides a possibility to the export-oriented SMEs that suffer sales decrease and brand damage due to counterfeit products in overseas markets, especially in China, to easily safeguard their products and differentiate between fake ones on the market.

HiddenTag is the only Korean company that has passed technological evaluation and obtained a certificate from China Trade Association for Anti-Counterfeiting. The official anti-counterfeit organization CTAAC was established in 1995 by the government organization – China Quality Supervisory Bureau. As much as the organization itself holds the credibility in the eye of consumers, so do the products imported to China that have HiddenTag authentication marks on them. The unique technology of HiddenTag is also highly appreciated by Korean export supporting organizations. For 2 consecutive years of 2014 and 2015 HiddenTag was selected as “K+ certificate mark” by KITA and the official performing agency of the “Export Voucher Program” supervised by KOTRA and the Small and Medium Business Corporation for the years 2017 and 2018.

HiddenTag is the proprietary technology of CK&B Co. Ltd., utilizing digital watermarking and data encoding to the unique images. By encoding different data to seemingly identical images, HiddenTag carries unique information, giving DNA like identity to each product carrying the label. The encoded data can be decoded easily only with HiddenTag app for security purposes. CK&B always enhances its services to provide value with its tailored approaches to each and every partner brand.
