African wig brand ‘X-pression’ applies HiddenTag for authenticity verification

Authenticity verification and anti-counterfeit solution provider CK&B (CEO Bae Ki-Hyeok) announced that it supplied the `Hidden Tag` security labels to the African wig brand “X-pression”.

“X-pression” is the main brand of the SOLPIA group, the largest wig manufacturer in Africa, and it is a global brand that is in the spotlight not only in Africa, but also in the America and Europe. Solpia Group first entered Senegal market about 40 years ago, and now it has branches in eight African countries, exporting locally produced products to all continents.

An official from CK&B said, “With HiddenTag authenticity labels X-pression may be able to protect its brand trademark and design. Now the company can prevent the spread of illegal counterfeit in advance.”

HiddenTag is smart security labels based on watermark technology. Consumers can check authenticity by scanning the HiddenTag labels attached to the product through the smartphone app, while companies may get distribution statistics via GPS tracking.

Meanwhile, CK&B has helped many exporting companies suffering from counterfeit and has supplied HiddenTag service to over 850 companies so far. The company has been re-selected as an export voucher activation agency in 2021.
