Authenticity verification service HiddenTag used for overseas brands 

CK&B announced that it provides HiddenTag security labels for authenticity verification to overseas brands to help eradicate illegal counterfeit products.

According to CK&B HiddenTag labels are used in various countries such as USA, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Africa covering the wide range of products including cosmetics, clothing, beauty devices, and pharmaceuticals.

An official from CK&B said, “The damage of counterfeit products is increasing not only in Korea but also abroad, it is difficult for manufacturers and brands to crack down on or detect counterfeit during distribution. We are trying to make anti-counterfeit system and prevent damage from counterfeit for overseas brands”

As for HiddenTag technology a unique ID is assigned to each label attached to the product, so consumers can quickly check whether the product is genuine or fake by scanning the security label attached to the product. In addition, tracking individual product ID makes it possible to identify the distribution route of the product and to detect counterfeit sellers.

In addition, HiddenTag can provide various marketing information for finding new distribution networks through monitoring the scan history of consumers around the world. In fact, many companies that have applied HiddenTag collect consumer scan history and use it to predict future economic situation

Meanwhile, CK&B has supplied Hidden Tag service to about 850 companies so far thanks to the use of many overseas companies. In Korea, it has been reselected by 2021 as an export voucher activation agency.
