Due to the COVID-19 transition and the growth of the global beauty industry, K-beauty companies are actively entering overseas markets.

According to data from the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), South Korea`s average market share among 20 major cosmetic importers, including the U.S., France, Japan, and Australia, exceeded 10% last year for the first time.

As K-beauty brands are growing rapidly, more and more companies are suffering from counterfeiters. As exports increase, especially online, not only small-scale K-beauty brands distributed online but also large corporations face forgery when entering new overseas markets.
