CK&B (CEO Bae Ki-Hyeok) announced on May 20th that the Korean pet
supplies brand <Bite Me> started applying the authentication service
HiddenTag for brand protection and counterfeit prevention purposes.
The provider of pet accessories, such as the Nosework Playbook Set, was
established in May 2017. Bite Me is leading the Korean pet supplies market; and
exports seasonal pet clothing and walking supplies to over 28 countries
worldwide.
According to CK&B, Bite Me decided to apply HiddenTag to grant both
local and international customers safety in the rapidly expanding pet
accessories market.
HiddenTag is a brand authenticity certification label working with a unique
patented technology. HiddenTag comes in various shapes, such as stickers, care
labels, hangtags, etc. The system is of great help to prevent and reduce
forgery cases by identifying and tracking fake products.
A CK&B representative explained: Although Bite Me registered its brand
copyright, the possibilities of forgery are pretty high due to its popularity.
For this reason, the brand decided to collaborate and further protect its
copyright.
Bite Me is carrying out various initiatives to protect animals and promote
animal welfare, such as the <Buy 2, Give 1> event. For every two snacks
purchased, one goes to an abandoned animal.
