HiddenTag; The First Step Towards SuccessfulEntry into Japanese Authentication Market
Increased International interest towards HiddenTag and introduction to Chinese, American, Thai, and Australian markets
Korea’s No. 1 anti-counterfeit solution HiddenTag, the proprietary technology of CK&B Co. ltd (CEO Ki-Hyeok Bae) has successfully entered into Japanese authentication market. CK&B Company that has already supplied authentication solution to brands in South East Asia, China, US, and Canada, has participated at the 8th Cosmetic Ingredients & Technology Exhibition in Yokohama, Japan and received great attention both locally and from other international participants.
Over 300 exhibitors participated in CITE Japan 2017, including OEM and ODM manufacturers, cosmetic raw materials providers, and packaging professionals. As in Korea, Japan also faces a number of challenges related to the decline in brand credibility and the drop in sales due to illegal copying of products exported to China. However, there are not many services tailored to prevent forgery and counterfeiting.
Many Japanese and foreign cosmetics manufacturers got interested in HiddenTag, due to its high security and customized design, as compared to the well-known QR Code. Distribution management service that is utilized by embedding unique code to seemingly identical labels using proprietary technology also attracted a lot of attention.
In the short interview with us, Ki-Hyeok Bae, the CEO of CK&B Co. ltd, said, “HiddenTag has already been thoroughly reviewed and acknowledge by CTAAC (Chinese Trade Association of Anti-Counterfeiting) and has also been highly appreciated for its proprietary technology in other markets”, and added “At this exhibition we once again confirmed that CK&B is a good business partner for global companies”.
