CK&B, Smart Activation Label `Hidden Tag` Helps Block Online Shopping Fake Distribution
CK&B (CEO Bae Ki-hyuk), an authenticity and security label company said its "Hidden Tag" service is helping to block the distribution of pirated products by determining whether various consumer goods distributed in online malls such as open markets are genuine or fake.
According to CK&B, the number of online transactions has increased significantly due to the recent spread of "Untact" consumption without contacting people, and sales of so-called "fake" products that forged brand products are also increasing.
"In order to calm consumers` anxiety over the fake issue, it is necessary to introduce a highly secure authentication label," a CK&B official said. "In particular, it is important to prevent fake products from occurring and build brand credibility."
Hidden tag labels cannot be forged with specialized encryption technology, can only be decrypted through the Hidden Tag app, and when the hidden tag data is copied, the detection details of the data are sent to the hidden tag security server to track the distribution path.
In addition, hidden tag labels have the advantage of being able to be manufactured to harmonize well with the product to be labeled by adding brand logos, and can be provided in various forms depending on products such as suture type hologram stickers, hangtags, and care labels.
Meanwhile, CK&B supplied hidden tag services to more than 800 domestic and foreign companies, was re-selected as an export voucher activation institution by 2021, and won the Prime Minister`s Award at the 18th Mobile Technology Awards hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and hosted by KOTRA.
