Now 800 mln people in China can access
authenticity verification service through HiddenTag
CK&B Co ltd (CEO Ki-Hyeok Bae) has announced that its
anti-counterfeit solution HiddenTag has been integrated to one of the top 5 app
markets in China, “360 app”.
The Chinese 360 app has 800 million users. Google
play is officially not available in China; instead the local Android app market
provides for Android phones. Among them are Baidu, Xiaomi, and other app
markets, including one of the most popular 360 app market. Considering that
there are 800 million Chinese smartphone users, we can say that the whole
Chinese population uses 360 app market.
HiddenTag has been registered to all top 5
app markets in China and is available to be freely downloaded by the consumers.
HiddenTag has not been added to these app markets only available for downloads,
but has also been added as a menu bar on the first page of 360 app market. This
means that the users can access HiddenTag right from 360 app market, without
the need of separately downloading HiddenTag app.
Anti-counterfeit solution HiddenTag also
provides distribution management service, with the help of which it is possible
to track and trace the products, thus preventing any illegal distribution
attempts. The core of HiddenTag solution is image watermarking, due to which
unique codes are embedded to seemingly identical labels and are used to monitor
the distribution.
HiddenTag has already been selected by KITA as a
genuine product verification solution “K+ certification mark” and is number one
player in the industry with over 200 reference points in domestic and
international markets.
It is also worth mentioning that unlike
other watermark based services that license overseas technologies, HiddenTag is
CK&B’s proprietary technology first of its kind in Korea. With its upgrated
service HiddenTag always stands one step ahead of counterfeiters and does all
it takes to protect its customers.
Despite being conservative to foreign
technologies, the level of infringement and counterfeiting within China has
been so severe that China has decided to partner with HiddenTag. Particularly,
this alliance and integration to 360 app market is of great importance amidst
political tensions, including THAAD, between two countries.
