HiddenTag Acknowledged as an Official Anti-Counterfeit Technology of CTAAC
One third of all products sold in China’s largest online shopping platform Taobao.com found to be fake according to a recent survey conducted by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce. Fake goods scrutinized were most likely to be substandard and posing a various health, safety, and economic issues to end-users.
Chinese government is becoming more active in addressing product safety and product counterfeiting. The official anti-counterfeit organization CTAAC (China Trade Association for Anti-Counterfeiting) was established in 1995 by the government’s China Quality Supervisory Bureau.It is responsible for both establishing anti-counterfeiting plans and regulations and monitoring the marketplace for counterfeit goods.

More and more brands exporting their goods to China are implementing HiddenTag technology and already seeing increase in sales revenue by creating a hurdle for counterfeiters.
CK&B’s milestone certification by CTAAC may lead to many more and the widespread extension of HiddenTag technology in China.
